A quicker and more effective way to straighten tees is with a BIT serise section bending machine (also called a “profile bending machine,” or an “section bender.”). The curved steel tee is run through large rollers with smaller calibrating rollers until it is straight.
Metal tees are not something that is normally produced by steel mills. Almost all metal tees are produced by splitting I-beams through the use of rotary shears or torches. The cutting can be done down the middle of the I-beam to create to equal sized tees, or performed off-center to give a pair of tees of unequal depth.
Because steel I-beams release stress when cut into tees, they will spring apart, giving them a stem-out radius and making it more difficult and time-consuming to straighten or bend into a stem-in form.

Steel tees are often used as stiffeners for curved plates, but are also used as parts for agricultural and construction equipment. When used on the inside of a curved plate, they are rolled stem-out and rolled stem-in when used on the outside of a curved plate. Tees are frequently used for roof trusses, canopies and lintels. They have also been used as parts for agricultural and construction equipment, and other components of various types of machinery.
The process is faster than ram straightening and provides superior quality. Mill tolerance for straightness of tees is 1/8in variation from straightness in ten feet. Ram bending can achieve this tolerance. With roll straightening, however, tolerances of 1/8in over 40 feet and longer can be achieved.

Applications for Steel Tees:
When steel tees are used as stiffeners on the outside of curved plate, they are usually rolled stem-in. When used as stiffeners on the inside of curved plate, steel tees are usually rolled stem out. Because our stem in tees have flat stems, our customers can use automatic welding equipment to weld the tees to plate; wavy tees would not allow for automatic welding. Stem up steel tees can be used as base plates or lintels curved in plan.
Construction applications for steel tees include roof trusses, canopies, and curved lintels. Equipment applications include parts for agricultural and construction equipment, tank supports, and other component parts of machinery.

Hydraulic & Electrical:
The main valve groups in the hydraulic system are selected from the famous Chinese brand Yuci. The valve group is a casting flow passage with large flow rate, low resistance, small pressure loss and low heat generation, which makes the machine performance more reliable.
The hydraulic pipe joints are all equipped with China's new technology - quick-connect fittings, which have a reliable radial seal to ensure that the hydraulic system does not leak oil during operation.
The hydraulic system has suction and oil return filter to ensure the cleaning of the system. There is an air filter to ensure normal gas exchange and evaporation of the water tank. There are two-way safety protection devices in the system to ensure the safety of the equipment.
Each input and output of the hydraulic system is equipped with corresponding detection points for easy maintenance and fault checking. The oil pump adopts the lower type and positive pressure oil absorption. At the same time, the filter is equipped with a liquid level gauge and a liquid temperature gauge. The hydraulic station is independent of the base for easy maintenance and away from heat.
