What is
Section Bending Machine?

The section bending machine is used to roll all types of materials and structural sections: rolling mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, bronze, brass, copper, and other alloys. For special bending applications, BIT offers different unique section rolling solutions beyond the standard PBC section bender.

The combination molds equipped with the PBC section bending machine can cold bend and roll angle iron (angle bending machine), flat bars, square bars, square & rectangular tubes, round & square rods, channels, I & H beams(Y-Y axis), and T-bars. Optional tooling allows for the bending of  I & H beams(X-X axis), round tube & pipe, oval tube, roll-formed shapes, aluminum extrusions, and special profiles.

Section Bending Machine is named as Profile Bending Machine, Section Rolling Machine, Angle Bending Machine, Angle Roll Machine, Angle Roller, or Section Bending Machinery.

Depending on the customer`s request, we can offer to customize a variety of profile bending machines for different configurations, depending on the application.

PBC Section Rolling Machine allows the bending/rolling of the biggest commercially available beams over their X-X Axi(hard way)s and Y-Y Axis(easy way) as well as tubes up to Φ510×20mm and flat bars up to 650×100mm(easy way bending)/300×80mm(hard way bending).

PBC 4-Roll Hydraulic Section Bender

The 4-roll bending machine range offers a wider distance between the side rolls allowing wider bending radiuses. At the same time offers the possibility for pre-bending with extremely short remaining straight ends.

PBC Section Rolling Machine

PBC is designed specifically for the high-sectional modulus bending process:
Monoblock robust frames reduce twists and deformation, stress relief enhances stability, and 5-axis CNC machining ensures precision and longevity.
Chrome-nickel alloy steel shafts reduce deflection, ensuring precision bending, running on self-lubricating spherical roller bearings.
High torque driven by 3-roll rotation, enabling efficient bending with fewer steps, and making it possible to create a high-sectional modulus bending process.
The bottom two rolls can move independently of each other, permitting bending symmetrically and asymmetrically and providing the opportunity to perform the pre-bending process on both edges.

How it Works

The working phases of a section bending machine include loading, roll movement to achieve pinching, the working phase involving pressure increase and profile deformation, and unloading.

PBC section bending machines with a driven-by 3-roll rotation system, makes bending easier and prevents marks on the material, particularly when bending round or square pipes. This design offers superior flexibility, allowing for optimal performance.
