About PBA-CNC Aluminum Benders

Aluminum profile bending machines (also called aluminum benders) are used to form aluminum profiles.

An aluminum bender is the forming of aluminum profiles in one axis by a multi-roll bending machine. If the semi-finished product is not moved during the bending process, the distance between the rollers, their diameter, and the depth of immersion determine the bending radius. To produce particularly large bends, the material is pulled through the roller bending machine and moved alternately. The distance between the rollers is gradually adjusted.

In most cases, roll bending is the most flexible and cost-efficient bending method. A profile is guided between three adjustable bending rolls and gradually bent in the desired radius.

Roll bending is the ideal bending method for profiles with complex designs and different radii. BIT’s PBA CNC profile bending machine has become specialized in 3D aluminum profile bending machines.

Repeatability and accuracy: The first bend of the day is the same as the bend on the night shift. Servo electric gives you this every time.
Accurately controlled ‘Z’-axis: When forming non-symmetrical sections, able to control the twist of the section accurately.
Variable centers:
To get the most from a machine you should be able to get the widest capacity.
An operator should be able to learn to bend complicated bends in a single day. Bends with tangents, and multi-radius bends all should be formed easily and smoothly.

Software function

  • The workpiece can be rolled bent and formed at one time; it can also be bent and formed repeatedly in various forms according to the needs;
  • Bendable shapes: C-shape, U-shape, 3R-shape, ellipse, and various arcs with variable curvature symmetrical on both sides; parabola, Archimedes spiral, and various asymmetrical arcs with variable curvature.
  • Support USB import of 2D drawing DXF file, 3D drawing.STEP file USB import, and directly generate production and processing formula program and automatically assign address; formula data can be manually modified, and formula data can be exported through USB;
  • The interface operates and displays a 3D simulated three-dimensional arc, and the color changes synchronously to display the processing process; the simulated arc profile can be opened, zoomed, and rotated.
  • It can realize the three-axis linear interpolation function of the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis, display the position change data of each action axis and workpiece movement data on the screen, and monitor the interpolation effect at any time to ensure the real interpolation function.
  • The equipment reserves an Internet communication interface, which can be used for remote online monitoring, remote debugging, online upgrade, etc.
  • The data of each axis has a power failure memory function and a permanent data storage function to prevent data loss due to power failure, shutdown, or equipment failure.
  • Automatically detect errors and equipment failures, and display errors, failure content, and codes on the screen, which is convenient for operators to troubleshoot easily.
  • Servo parameters can be preset through the system, and key parameters and the status of the servo can be monitored through the system.
  • The software can automatically extract material rebound data and interpolation arc length data of different radii, without manual input one by one, which effectively saves programming time and reduces the difficulty of equipment operation.
  •  Self-diagnosis function: if the equipment fails, it can judge whether the components are good or bad
  • Manual adjustment function: the arc with inaccurate size can be corrected by manual function.
  •  4G memory, 128G solid state hard disk, can store enough processing formulas for multiple profiles.

Shaft seat slideway (Chinese patent)

  • Steel plate quenching and tempering treatment, quenching treatment, dovetail groove structure connection, each surface is processed by grinding machine, after combination, the upper and lower planes are processed by grinding machine, and the surface is electroplated with hard chrome.
