Weight Formula for GOST U-Channels
For calculating the weight of GOST U-Channels, the following formula is typically used:
Weight per meter=((h−t)×s×0.00785)+(t×b×0.00785)
Where:
- ℎh is the height of the U-channel (in mm),
- b is the width of the U-channel (in mm),
- s is the thickness of the web of the U-channel (in mm),
- t is the thickness of the flange of the U-channel (in mm).
