Working Principle

  • Pipe rolling machine is designed with three primary rollers: two lower rollers and one upper roller. Through a coordinated process, the upper roller exerts downward pressure, while the lower rollers facilitate rotational movement. This mechanism induces controlled plastic deformation in the metal tubing, enabling the machine to produce continuous, precise bends.
  • Three-Point Circular Formation: Utilizing the three-point circular formation principle, the pipe rolling machine capitalizes on the relative positional changes and rotational movements of the tubing. This technique enables a seamless and gradual bending process, achieving the desired circular or partially circular shapes in the tubing.
  • Plastic Deformation Process: During operation, the pipe rolling machine subjects the metal tubing to multiple bends. This process involves compressing the inner layers, maintaining the integrity of the central layers, and stretching the outer layers of the tubing. These controlled deformations result in the creation of precisely bent tubing.

Pipe rolling machines come in various types and configurations to suit different bending and rolling requirements. Here are five common types of BIT pipe rolling machines:

PBH Steel Pipe Rolling Machine

PBH Pipe Rolling Machine

PBH double-pinch steel pipe rolling machine is a specialized type of rolling machine used for bending various types of pipes, including angle iron, flat bar, T-sections, I beams, and other structural shapes. These machines are particularly well-suited for bending metal profiles along the x-axis and y-axis to create curves, circles, rings, and various other shapes. The “double-pinch” in the name refers to the top roll having a fixed position, while the bottom two have the possibility to move and can be moved independently one from the other. This kind of machine is the most flexible and, consequently is the one that allows better performances The possibility to move independently the bottom rolls allows us to manage in the best way the pinching and bending operations, permitting them to work symmetrically and asymmetrically.

Key features of the PBH steel pipe rolling machine

  • Two Adjustable Rolls: Unlike traditional three-roll rolling pipe benders(Pyramidal Rolling Pipe Benders) where only the top roll is adjustable, a double-pinch section rolling machine has two adjustable rolls (the bottom rolls), which allows for greater control and precision in bending profiles.
  • Multi-Axis Bending: These rolling pipe bending machines are capable of bending profiles in multiple planes, enabling the creation of complex shapes and curves. This makes them suitable for applications like circular and elliptical frame components, handrails, and other structural elements.
  • Hydraulic Power: PBH pipe rolling machines are powered by hydraulic systems, which provide the force needed for bending, making them well-suited for bending heavy or thick materials.

Applications of PBH steel pipe rolling machine

  • Construction: Creating curved or circular sections for architectural and structural elements in buildings, bridges, and other construction projects.
  • Manufacturing: Forming frames and components for machinery, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
  • Metalworking: Bending metal profiles for various applications, such as handrails, guardrails, and staircases.
  • Custom Fabrication: Crafting unique and specialized curved components for specific project requirements.

PBA Pipe Rolling Machine

PBA Pipe Rolling Machine

PBA pipe rolling machines are equipped with CNC controls and displays, which enable precise measurements and repeatability. It is ideal for bending aluminum profiles such as rolling aluminum pipes. They are often found in manufacturing environments and metal fabrication shops that frequently work with profiles that require symmetrical bending.

Key features of the PBA pipe rolling machine

  • User-Friendly Operation, Repeatability, and Accuracy: CNC control ensures that each bend is consistent and accurate. Designed to be user-friendly, and operators can learn to operate it effectively within a day.
  • Handling Complex Bends: The PBA pipe rolling machine can handle complex bends, including those with tangents and multi-radius bends. This versatility is valuable in industries where intricate pipe and tube configurations are required.
  • Accurate ‘Z’-Axis Control: The ability to control the twist of non-symmetrical sections is critical for applications where maintaining the shape and orientation of the section is essential.
  • Variable Center Distance: The ability to adjust or vary the centers is a critical feature for the PBA pipe rolling machine because it allows for greater flexibility in the shaping process. The centers refer to the distance between the centers of the rolls, and this distance determines the final shape of the metal.
  • Servo Electric System: The servo-electric system provides precise control over the bending process, offering consistency and accuracy for each bend. It ensures that the first bend of the day is the same as the last bend on the night shift.

PFB 3D freeform tube bender for aluminum pipe bending is an innovative machine capable of bending aluminum pipes in multiple planes and directions. This advanced technology enables the creation of complex and organic shapes with intricate curves and varying radii.

MS Series Rolling Pipe Bender

An MS pipe rolling machine, also known as an angle roller or angle rolling machine, is a mechanical device used in metalworking and fabrication to bend or shape pipes and tubes into various curves and shapes.

MS pipe rolling machine is a pyramidal pipe rolling machine, that typically has fixed positions for the bottom rolls, and the top roll can be moved down. This design restricts the machine’s capabilities to work primarily in a symmetrical way, as it doesn’t allow for individual adjustments of the bottom rolls.

Reverse Rolling Pipe Bender Machine

Reverse Rolling Pipe Bender Machine

A reverse rolling pipe bender machine, also known as a reverse roll bender or a reverse rolling pipe bending machine, is a specialized piece of equipment used for bending pipes, tubes, and other cylindrical workpieces in the opposite direction compared to traditional pipe bending machines. Unlike standard pipe benders, which bend pipes in a forward direction, reverse rolling pipe benders are designed to curve or coil pipes backward or in the opposite direction to create specific shapes and configurations.
