Introduce
Bent steel components don’t just “walk out” of the angle roll. Bent steel members are made of straight materials and are bent by your bending company to your requirements.
The bending process does not affect the strength or structural integrity of the steel. When the shape is successfully bent without any buckling or local cracks in the steel, under actual conditions of use, the component will withstand much less stress than that associated with the bending operation. Once the bending is completed, the member can be expected to perform as needed.

Bending deformation
Steel has minimal bending deformation and is very attractive for AESS (Exposed Structural Steel for Building) applications. The most qualified bending companies have internal quality control systems and internal tolerances to be observed when bending steel components.
Bend radius is the most critical information required to bend steel members. The radius requirement determines the bending process used. Roll bending is used for larger radius bending, while rotational stretching and thermal bending are used for tighter radius bending.
The terms “easy way” and “hard way” have nothing to do with the difficulty of bending or bending steel members. The “easy way” is to bend the component about the weak axis, and the “hard way” is to bend the component about the strong axis. Read More: Easy-Way Vs. Hard-Way Of Profile Bending
It can be bent in a true HSS material. It is not necessary to separate the HSS before bending and then weld the parts back to meet your needs. There is no need to fill the HSS material with other structural members for internal support. We do not “pamper” the stringers.
Compared to processed profiles that need to be welded or spliced together, curved steel profiles that produce smooth, consistent radians are more aesthetically appealing and less labor-intensive.
You can contact the press brake to get the material from your local steel repair center, or you can contact a nearby steel repair center and arrange to ship the material directly from the steel repair center near the brake of your choice.

After the profile bending
After the section bending process, straight and bent materials with the same theoretical external dimensions can be welded together. Qualified bending companies can control the deformation or amount of bending steel members to ensure proper assembly/alignment with straight members.
Steel does not always have to be heated to bend or bend. In many cases, hot or cold bending can be used to bend the steel.
